  1. I just got fitted into a TSR3 16.5 fairway. Replacing my 3 and 5 woods with this one club. I’m not concerned with the gaps between my driver and 7 wood this creates as it allows me to add a wedge on the bottom of the bag where I need more help! Now I’ve gotta decide between four iron and hybrid…

I stopped gaming a four iron years ago, when I stopped playing my original set of AP2 forged irons and went to something more forgiving and added the hybrids. As I aged, found them easier to hit, less effort. My set up is as follows: TSi3D (10.75), TSi2F (15.0*), 816h1 17.0*, 818h1 21.0 (all metals have Fujikura speeders shafts), T350 5-48W, SM9 52.08 and 56.10 (AMT Red, R300 shafts). My fitter and I finally got it right. I suggest that you work with your fitter to get the right set-up.

Scott deciding between a 4i and a 4h is completely personal preference. I put a 22* (4h) hybrid in my bag a few years ago and find it to be a much more versatile club than the 4i it replaced. I have used the hybrid from the rough, off the tee, and around the green in addition to full swings going for the green in 2. Ha!

You should also consider the U505. I just put the 22 degree U505 4 iron in the bag with the Hazrds Black 4G shaft to replace my 4 iron. Great club.
