Not identical because the loft adjustment is occurring in the hosel area which means the whole head adjusts including the sole angle. A true 9 degree would have a true sole angle to the ground. Because you swing a driver off the ground, the one degree difference in the sole angle should not be a big deal but I guess there could be an ever so slight difference in the exact sweet spot center of gravity between the two. Hit both on a TrackMan and see if your numbers are identical.
