Titleist t200 5 iron to u505 4 iron

    Hello all, currently gaming 2021 t200 irons 5-pw and looking to upgrade the top end of my bag. I currently have a 4 hybrid in the bag that I haven’t been getting along with this year as far as consistency. I just demoed a u505 4 iron with a hzrdus black and fell in love with it. Very nice ball speed, flight, and dispersion off of the turf. My question is, does the u505 essentially fly further than the regular t200 utility 4 iron?

    That’s a good question. Check out the video link below. If link doesn’t work it’s the Michael Newton YouTube comparison video for the 3 iron U505 and T200 utility. I think it’s funny when he stripes it with the U505 and says Wow! Those were my exact words when I got fit for my U505 utility. Based on the launch data it looks like the U505 hits it longer and higher in his 3 iron comparison. End of the video has the data comparison.

    I have found when I try to stretch the distance a little my U505 4 iron it goes higher but not much further. But I think you are getting a little more distance from a normal swing. This club has immediately helped my game. I swapped out my T200 4 iron with AMT Black S300 shaft for this club and love it. It’s great for an iron off the tee with that extra forgiveness and the height going into the green is awesome.
