  1. Howdy! A simple question...

When you get a T200 Utility build, is the head any different? I have a "regular" T200 4 Iron in a KBS TOUR Stiff, but wondering if there is a difference if I were to purchase a T200 Utility 4 Iron with the same shaft? Is the head weight different?

    Thanks!

The utility head and the regular head are only different by the boring of the hosel. One is straight and one is tapered.

Dale, are you sure of this? I agree they are the same heads, but that includes the same .355 Taper hosel. They might have changed that for this year's model, but the previous T200 Utility heads were the same .355 Taper. I have changed shafts on several and had to sand the tip of hybrid .370 shafts to fit the .355 Taper hosel. I've also installed .355 iron shafts in the utility heads and it was a perfect fit.
Anyone from Titleist want to jump in so one of us (it doesn;t matter who) is corrected and we can make sure the correct info is out there? Thx.

You are correct George. All the Titleist irons are .355 taper so the utility build is just offering the irons with a graphite shaft option. Always best to have it built by Titleist instead of changing yourself to ensure the warranty remains valid.

I’m interested in the difference as well. I’d prefer the lofts of the utility build which seem to be 2 degrees weaker but I don’t necessarily need a hybrid shaft so maybe the regular T200 would be fine.
