Hi, i ordered a T100s(2021) 48 degree gap wedge to replace my 50 degree Vokey. I felt that the gap difference between my PW (avg.127 carry) and 50 degree (avg. 107 carry) was to much (20 yards).

Titleist sent me a T100 50 degree gap wedge by mistake. After speeking to Titleist rep. she told me that a set gap wedge goes further than a Vokey with same loft. She also added that a 48 degree will close a gap but will create another gap between my Gap Wedge and my SW.

Don't know if i should keep the T100 gap wedge or send it back a get the original order T100S gap wedge.

The set wedge lofts typically do go longer than the same Vokey on full shots. If you try it, will the rep allow you to exchange it? If it goes 110, is that enough to fill the gap?
    I added a T200 48 in addition to keeping a 50 Vokey for the gapping. But a 50 degree T200 wasn’t an option. And I don’t carry 14 clubs so it fit.

I agree that you can't just go by the degrees. In my situation I have T350 48 gap with same tensei red graphite as the full iron set, 50, 54, 58 Vokeys with steel shafts. The 48 and 50 have a good 10 yards between them due to the head differences and shafts. The only way to know for sure what you need is by hitting clubs and measuring results. Good luck! Hope you get it dialed in to what you need.
  4. I would send it back and get what you originally ordered. I play 2021 T100s (4-GW). In my opinion there is a big difference in feel and look at address between the vokey wedge and the T100s gap wedge. For what its worth, my 48* T100s gap wedge is probably my most used and favourite club in the bag.
    Hope this helps, good luck.
