  1. Hi all... should i have my 3 wood and driver on the same setting, i got fitted and they set me with b1 setting on driver (low fade) and b3 on 3 wood (high draw)

Im hitting 3 wood well and driver is slicing.. probs my swing but would this effect it this much?

    thanks

I got fit back in May. The setting from the fitter worked well for me until I started playing better later in the Summer. My slice eliminating setting turned into a hook when I put a bad swing on it. I had to go back to a more neutral setting. Now I can hit a fade again.
Most of us are not professionals and our swings can change throughout the season or in the same round. I'd adjust it a small amount and try it out. I love the amount of adjustment on my TSR3.
  3. I’m having a similar issue with my TSI2 3w and 5w. I even have them both set on A1. Kind of hesitant to open them up or if I should just try to play into the draw. I’m not used to playing that type of shot.
  4. thanks for that, exactly my thinking will give it a go

Play around with the settings. Sometimes I do for weather conditions or how I seem to be swinging. For what it's worth, my driver (TSR4) and 3 (TSR3) have the same setting - A1, but my hybrid, also a TSR3 is D1. The one I tend to adjust the most is the driver, as that's the one I have the widest dispersion.

Head to the practice range with your wrench and give a few different settings a try. Much better way to dial in your clubs that asking us our opinion. We have no way to know if your issue is the setting or the swing. Good luck with it.
  7. Sorry was just a general question i thought of at work so thought i would ask the people, and had some great replys... just wasnt sure if people normally had the same setting for all clubs or not, which i now know they dont so will change it up

The hosel settings are only for fine tuning. Slicing with driver involves a swing problem.

Hybrids and fairways might share settings, but the usual driver setup for a positive angle of attack versus a negative to neutral for other clubs wouldn’t imply the settings would be the same.

A 1/2 hour with your local Pro would take the guess work out of it IMO. Small price to pay to get the most out of your gear. A fitting doesn't always need to mean new gear - it could be jus to verify/validate what you are currently playing (including gapping) - My two cents.

I agree. At the start of the season my swing is different from how it is near the end after I'm back in the flow. That's what makes these clubs so great...the number of adjustments you can make based on how things are going.

I have a TSi2 driver set at B1 as I prefer to play a little left to right off the tee (right hander) and a TSr2 3wd set at C1 (even more open) as I tend to overly draw the 3wd. The result is desired for me, the driver plays a very subtle fade and the 3wd goes dead straight. It's probably a flaw in my swing but I'm thankful for the options Titleist provides to adjust.

As some of TT members have said, head to the range and play with the settings.Personally, my driver 3 wood and hybrid all have different settings.I'm certain you'll find a setting best suited to your ball flight.

I would try to change the driver to A1.
I have found (a friend as well) that a Driver seems to just work better on the standard settings.

    I have a TSR4 at A1, and a TSR3 15 at B4.

I had moved the 3W to 16.5 to drop the distance, but it seems to have had the opposite effect due to the higher launch and I hit some 300yd tee shots with my 3W the other day. It out averaged my Driver (290)...

I also have a TS2 5W at B4, but I don't regularly use it. It seems to work best in that setting as well.

Driver, though I have always seem to go back to A1.
