It's always helpful to have a few different options in wedges that you can add or subtract from the bag depending on course conditions, especially if you are a frequent traveler and play a lot of different courses with significantly different grasses, bunkers, and course conditions. I also do the same for hybrids versus long irons. The only con would be the cost of having extra clubs you might not use very often.

I golf in Southern California. Everywhere I play from the Valley to the IE have hard firm ground. In the winter when it's cold, the ground is even harder. I play low bounce on all my wedges. Since being in Hawaii now where things are much softer and more grassy, I still prefer my low bounce as the bunkers are usually absolutely terrible and hard... funny as we're surrounded by sand...

I have 46-08F, 50-08F, 54-10S, 60-04L.

I would never switch my 60-04L for anything, except for maybe the 60-T
