  1. Anyone know if/when Titleist will release the new versions of these clubs?

Nope but even if we did, no one from Titleist is allowed to discuss release dates prior to any official disclosure. This is the same for all clubs and balls that Titleist produces. Just stay alert to these posts as they still will likely be the first place that something like new models will show up.

I can't say for certain, Im sure someone else will know, But I believeI read somewhat recently that they were going to be done making new models of the CB & MB because it didn't make sense to continue a new line when there was only so much that can change or differ on the technology side for those particular heads.

I have MB's and the new T-100's, there isn't that big of a difference on good shots, it's the big misses that the TRUE forged clubs penalize you. It's all about sales. Club geeks like me will tell you all day that single digit guys should be in game-improvement irons, but we also put lift kits in trucks even though we know it voids the warranty and the gas mileage will be horrible. We're men!

There have been som one-off custom designs. Adam Scott got more offset, JT got zero offset, and Cameron Young got the bounce adjusted and slightly longer 6-8 irons to match better with T100 long irons.
I have no knowledge of the thinking at Titleist. Based on the fact that the last release was 2019, maybe these lines will move to custom only items with offset and bounce choices done by metal printing instead of ordering a few thousand forged blanks and a standard offset and loft issue. Even the CNCPT choices may be better today than the 620 line for pure response.

I just received my 620 MB/CB combo set and I compared them to my friends 690.mbs and the only real difference is the more rounded heel for the 620 compared to the square heel of the 690.

I wonder since there is not much you can do with these traditional blades, if they would move these to more a custom order much like wedge works where you could get custom grinds and lofts.

MRoseki, What have you found have been the affects of the more rounded heel for you? I love the idea of it becoming a custom order for grinds, lofts, lie, engraving etc.

I finally pulled the trigger and bought the 620 MB's 4-9 the beginning of October. My Titleist rep said he wasn't sure when the next model would be released. But just doing my own research, and similar to what others have said, the design changes over the years have been pretty minimal. Not a whole lot you can do to them.
  9. Thank you for responses. I’ve ordered my 620 MB 6-PW and 2023 T100 in the 4 and 5 iron. Looking forward to getting these in and hitting the course. I hope there are still some warm enough days here in NJ to go take advantage of. Cheers.
