I’ve been a long time Titleist-only nut for ages now. I loved the TS, TSI, and especially the TSR line of fairways. But, the GT Fairways (I have GT2 3 and 7) are incredible. Different sound off the face I’m getting used to, but the results are better than TSR by far, IMO.

Anyone else noticing a major difference in the fairways?

I finally hit mine today for the first time and noticed a nice crack sound to them. I also found them to be quite forgiving. I previously had a TSR 7 wood and TSi 4 wood that had the wrong shafts in them (didn't get fit on these ones) and with the new fitting I feel these woods are money. Fitter put me into a 3 wood and 5 wood that were gapped better than my previous set up.

Yes. GT 7 wood is the equivalent distance of my old 5 wood so now I will put in the 16.5 3 wood with a shorter shaft (driver is 44 inches long ) and it will become a true 4 wood. When the hybrids come out I will fill the gap between the 7 wood and my longest iron . Bottom line is I’m using shorter and more accurate clubs and covering the same distances with higher percentage of success on every shot

Yes, they are amazing, but since this is the first time I have been fit for fairways, it is difficult to tell which helped more, the shaft or the clubhead...

Upgraded my TSi2 18 degree to a GT2 16.5 degree and got out with it for the first time yesterday - holy cow this thing is sweet! The forgiveness in this club is insane. I've never had confidence hitting a 250 yard shot off the deck until now. I loved it so much I went ahead and ordered the 21 degree. The top of my bag has improved drastically with these and the GT3 driver.

I literally just posted asking about this very topic! I didn't search hard enough to find this post I guess! this is the feedback I've been looking for; I did a GT2 Driver fitting but I'm going back for fairways, and I was wondering what others' opinions were on their GT fairways' performance. I currently have TSR2 4 and 7-woods.

    Thanks for the post!

For that matter, my 913F 17 and 910F 21 are way better vs TSR1 18 and 20. The TSR1 23 is a fantastic club. I attached an image of the GT2 alongside my 913F 17. So far the feel of the GT2 is great.

The GT2 18 blew away the 913F 17 on the course this am.

I have the GT2 5 and 7 woods with Tensei Blue 65R. 5g head weights D1 swing weight. I also installed a Tensei Blue AV 65R on the 9 wood. Solid hitting.

All I can say is next year I turn 60, and my group will still make me play the Blue/Orange tees, so yeah, I LOVE the GT's....

Nice quality coming out of the plant here in San Diego on a new GT2 driver. Looks like it was run over by a freight train. Clubhead, shaft, hosel all destroyed on delivery.

  12. GT3 fairways have been a huge improvement over the TSR2 fairways I played last year, better ball speeds and much stronger ball flight for me.

The GT Fairways are really good. Flying under the radar on how these are so much better than the TSR. The L-shaped face really does help on the low miss on the clubface.
