I have a TSR2 driver head coming in the mail. I currently play a TSi2 10 degree. What characteristics can I expect that are different from the TSi2 compared to the TSR2? Distance, spin, launch angle, ball speed, etc...???? Your thought please... both are 10*

Whenever I purchase a new driver I always go see my fitter to find out all those questions you are asking, before I make a purchase.
I want to make sure that I am making the right decision and improving my game with at least ten yards gained in distance, thru lower spin, correct launch angle, and hopefully more ball speed. Being you just purchased the head, you could go see a fitter and ensure that you get the correct shaft and get the answers to your question. It is unusual that you can purchase just the head. Normally those are not available thru Titleist accounts. Beware of fakes on ebay, "if it is new".

I would do a fitting. I have done fittings where that model driver did not equate into a change in driver for me. The 917 is a prime example. My fitter could never get a great shaft head combination that excelled over the 915D2 I was currently playing at the time.

As Chuck says, the entire unit makes up the characteristics. Just swapping heads maybe no difference, less performance, or better performance with the same shaft from the Tsi-2. The next release drivers are not automatically better for every golfer.
Be sure you can verify the chain of custody of the head. Third party vendors, especially garage resellers, can't often spot a counterfeit component.
  5. I switched from the TSi to the TSR2, both 8 degrees, and noticed an immediate change in dispersion and distance. The TSR2 being slightly longer and straighter. I was fitted with the TSi in 2021 and when the TSRs came out the fitter's recommendation was to make the switch. I think it feels better also. That said, I still play both interchangeably. I keep one set of clubs at my country club and another in my trunk in case I want to play a different course without having to retrieve my clubs from storage at the country club. Generally, I don't notice a huge difference between the two, but prefer the TSR2. The biggest change was switching to a counterbalanced shaft, which makes them both longer. I'm not a launch monitor guy, so I can't help you out with numbers. I don't think you'll be disappointed in any way with the TSR2. Enjoy it. Definitely an upgrade. I hit it so well I'm not even thinking about the GT.
  6. I currently have a TSR2 and I have had it for a while and think it is a really nice club and great amount of workability, spin and distance but am looking for a upgrade preferably titielist. What would be some good options?
  7. i agree with teddy t i am currently using the gt2 came from using the tsr2 i think it was such a great option and i would recomend if you want a cheaper option from the gt
