Titleist never leaks info on the forum. They only announce releases when approved by their executives. That said, the informal speculation is pretty consistent in plans to see a GT1 driver and GT hybrids in early 2025.

I am very slow to change Hybrids. Hybrids needs for me are a club I can trust won’t go left. I am still playing the 913 HD hybrid. What am I giving up with this setup. Distance is not really important to me I am low cap 39 yr old and driver club speed between 118 and 121. I mainly use this club off the tee where I need to hit it below 250 and sometimes into par 5s. I am also debating if I need to look at a 5 or 7 wood.

You don’t need to change a thing if you love what the 913 does. The GT hybrids should be announced around the beginning of February. A fitting will be a way to optimize your ball flight for what you need it to do. If the same loft in the GT goes past 250, then one of the fitting goal is to get you the best launch and descent at a distance of less than 250 yards.. Maybe you can improve stopping power on 2nd shots into par 5’s?
The shafts and head materials have changed dramatically over the last 12 years. You will notice the change.

Does a hybrid play like an iron at all?

Well, sort of. The name is designating it as a cross of a fairway and an iron. With a larger and heavier head, they are typically easier to hit and launch higher than an iron. The wide sole can compliment a tendency to hit behind the ball by sliding across the turf but can harder to use in deep rough. Hybrids are generally recommended to hit down on the ball like an iron, as opposed to fairways that can be more of a sweeper motion. Titleist suggests the -2 model for swings closer to a sweeping motion and the -3 models for those whose angle of attack is more down.
The majority use case is for when a player lacks enough club head speed with a long iron. Super game improvement sets may include hybrids for anything longer than a 7 iron. Or even PW.
More skilled players will prefer either a hybrid or fairway to fill a gap from 3W to their next iron. A recent trend has some pros using a 7W over a 19-20 degree hybrid. Just preference. If not sure for yourself, a good fitter can recommend irons, hybrids, and/or fairways to fill distance gaps.

I have not been able to beat my 816 - I am going to give the new ones a chance and see what they are all about! Looking forward to seeing them

My 816H1 27 has been in the bag for 6 years. A lot easier to swing vs the TSR1 because of the more upright lie angle.

Looking forward to a proper hybrid fitting for the first time. It will be interesting to see what I will be fitted for between the GT 7 wood and the CNCPT CP-04 5 iron. Should be fun...
