    Hi Joe

I have been swinging right and putting left for the better part of 30-years.   I too have better control and feel from the left side than from the right but I think the big thing is to go with what works for YOU!.  Golf is a very individual game and each of us has to find our own style.  Keep on playing!

    Hey Joe,

I'm a 6 handicap 13 year old golfer. And what i got to say to that is "Putting is an art, not a science." Do whatever you can to make more putts. The belly-putter and different putter grips were all invented because people thought that doing something different could improve their putting rather than the standard putting fundamentals. I personally putt with pretty much standard fundamentals just because it works for me and I feel comfortable with it.

    Happy Golfing!

There is one opinion that the dominant eye can aim better when it is the lead eye (closer to the hole).  Any hunting instructor can tell you if you are left or right eye dominant.  If you are right eye dominant, like most right-handers, then you might find you have better aim putting left-handed.  The rest of us just have to compensate.

As all the others say, it then is down to how well you can control speed and direction.  ...And reading greens correctly.
