KBS Tour shaft black nickel availability - for Cathi

    Hi Cathi - Is the KBS Tour shaft R available in black nickel??  Titleist website definitely is clear KBS Tour is in the matrix, but it is not clear if the black nickel finish is also available through Titleist.  I'm interested in them for an upcoming order of 712 CB/MB's.  Thanks very much.  Steve

    Hi Steve,  We offer the KBS tour shaft in the standard chrome finish.  Sorry, but we only offer the KBS Black nickel in the wedges.

    Hi Cathi,

    Thanks for the prompt response...I've been out-of-town lately.  Just one follow-up question out of curiosity.

    If Titleist offers KBS Tour R flex, and KBS offers R flex in nickel...why does Titleist not offer KBS Tour R flex in nickel for an up-charge?? (as I know the nickel finish is more expensive)

    Hi,  We do extensive testing on durability of finishes and when we spoke with Kim Braly, being the perfectionist that he is, he was still working on making the finish more durable.  So, at this time, we do not offer that finish.
