I was just wondering what the official reason is for the delay between new product hitting the US and Australian markets.

I recently attempted to order a new golf bag (the StaDry stand bag - black and red), and was told that the newest model wouldn't be available in Australia until atleast August. I then asked for the 2014 model and was told it was no longer available etc. (which is fair enough). This was in early/mid May. I subsequently decided to go with the Staff Stand Bag, which although a good bag, is not 100% what I wanted.

The new StayDry model was already out in the US - obviously because of it being Summer. I was just wondering why there is such a delay for the product to come to Australia when there is clearly a demand for it all year round given Australian climate conditions. Is it a case of all the unsold/overproduced stock for the US market being dumped into the Australian market at a later date?

It is ridiculous that I couldn't order the newest model in this day and age in the colour I wanted when the old model was no longer available.
