Has anyone added the new Titleist Mid-Size Staff Bag to their collection yet ? I was wondering if anyone has any feedback ?

  2. Hey Doug,

Are you asking about the new model in particular, or the midsize staff bag in general? Because I own the Midsize staff bag, and I have to say that it was one of the smartest golf purchases I have ever made. I've owned cart and stand bags, and the midsize staff bag is just absolutely perfect. The pockets are absolutely huge, and the 'back' of the bag has two pocket that neither of the stand and cart bags have, and they are absolutely important. It's where I keep my rain gear and valuable, and I can't imagine reverting back to any other model. The size is perfect for my remote controlled cart, and riding carts is just perfect as well. Will be buying Titleist midsize staff bags from here on out, except for the occasional rain bag for those yucky days, lol.

Outstanding bag. Plenty of pockets and room for everything. Like it much better then my cart bag

Yes, looking for feedback on the new one (2017) Mid-Size Staff Bag. saw it the other day at Golf Galaxy and thought it might be a good purchase. I have the older model.

I went from a Titleist 14 way cart bag to the new, 2017 Mid-Staff bag. Both great bags, but love the look of the new Mid-staff. After having 14-way top cuffs for the last 6 years or so, I have really embraced the 6-way top on the mid-staff. I like the way my clubs ride together better, 2 or 3 in each section, nestled up against each other, all irons and wedges pretty much staying in the same direction. I use one section for my Scotty, with oversize Matador grip. Everything just fits perfect.

The large back pockets are great for extra clothing and rain gear. The large side pockets have lots of room, yet don't expand so wide that the bag intrudes on your playing partner's bag in the back of the cart. I had that problem when I really load up my old cart bags with stuff.

As I mentioned in a similar thread earlier today, if I can find any negative about the mid-staff, and it is really a very minor negative, it's that the smaller side pockets at the top are quite thin and shallow. Maybe only enough room to hold a cellphone and thin wallet. I can get my reading glasses in there too, all in one side pocket. In the opposite side pocket, I just keep some extra scorecards--which must be folded to fit the short pocket--and some extra pencils. But there is so much room elsewhere, it really isn't a problem. As much as I loved all my Titleist 14-way cart bags over the years, I am very happy with this new mid-staff bag. It looks extremely well made. And sharp-looking overall.

And two hours ago, I just switched out my old TT bag tag with the new one that arrived in the mail today. Thanks Titleist. You're the best! Now the old TT bag tag is hanging from my Titleist carry/stand bag. (Certainly wasn't gonna throw it out!)
