Traditional Laces OR BOA FJ's???

    I'm looking to purchase a pair of FJ Tour-S shoes this week and wanted to know if anyone has any experience using the BOA closure system. What is everyone's thoughts about this lacing system?

    I have a 5 year old pair of FJ's with the BOA system. It still works perfect. The shoe will wear out before the BOA. Im thinking about custom ordering new FJ Classic Tours with the BOA. I just have to work up the nerve to pay $250!

    Wayne, I've had FJ shoes for a long time and with the past few years I tried the BOA system and absolutely love it. I am kind of quirky when it comes to laces sticking out of my shoes so the BOA system definitely provides the clean look that I like in addition to all of the other features. I say go for it at least once. I don't think you'll regret it. Cheers

    I just purchased a pair with the BOA system and absolutely love it. Super adjustable and very easy to take on and off. I wish I could have the BOA system on all my shoes.

    BOA. Only regret was not getting them earlier. They really "fit" IMO.

    I've only messed with the BOA system in stores so far. But I think my next pair of golf shoes will have it. The ease of taking them on and off is great. Just pop the dial and you can slide right out.

    I use Adidas boost 360 with the BOA system. I love it! Keeps the shoe much more snug on my foot.

    I wanted a Footjoy shoe but after trying 3 different models they all had the same issue for me, they press up on my ankle which is slightly painful and very uncomfortable.

    No BOA for me. I change the laces sometimes red, yellow, orange, pink. Etc. No white or black laces. Too boring..

    All of my shoes have the BOA system. Will never go back to golf shoes with laces. You get the perfect fit every time and never have to stop and snug them up or retie a shoe.

    I bought one pair of Foot Joy's with the BOA system, convinced they are heavier.

    Have 18 pairs of FJs consisting of ICONS, DryJoy Tours, and ProSLs and just recently ordered the new ProSL Black BOAs coming out in October along with the new laced Red/White/Blue. I have heard so many things about the BOAs I thought I would give them a shot and the new styles being released on Oct 1 are awesome. Anxiously awaiting.

    I prefer laces but only because I like the more traditional look.

    Just bought a pair of Pro/SL’s with laces. All my shoes have laces. Boa system doesn’t look right to me but I still wonder what I’m missing.

    I would get the BOA on the tour s but I don't really like the colour.

    Wish FJ would do it in the all white.

    Laces for me. I am very traditional; actually very conservative. I have no interest in the BOA system. But if it works for you, then go for it. That’s why FootJoy offers the two options. I will continue to tie my shoe laces for as long as I am able.
