So I just recently bought the new lineup of TS woods ... TS2 & 2 fairways woods, 3 & 5 wood. I immediately thought the headcovers were not very good.

I was first disappointed that there is no distinction between the fairway woods. I received two of the 15* 3-wood covers. You used to at least have one that said 15* & one that was 19* on the little tag. Both of mine say 3 wood. Also, they are extremely tight to get on & off. Being a sort of leather, when they get wet, heat & humidity, they will shrink again. Making it even harder to get on & off. I would think that clubs that were at this price point would have better club head covers. I liked the older kind with the sock part that would go down the shaft to protect the shaft from rattle damage in the bag. I might get someone to knit some covers for me just because these are not that great.

Anyone else feel the same way?

I actually love the headcovers, best ones i've seen in years and haven't had any issues.. It's a classy cover IMO...

And "price point", pretty sure it's close to the same price point as the 917s and those covers weren't the greatest. Only reason why my TS2 driver was a little more is b/c of the shaft up charge..

Sorry to hear you don't like them. Plenty of other head covers out there to game if these don't work out for ya. I have a lot of extras and tend to rotate them out.
  3. The new covers are terrible. Sure, they look great, but the driver headcover is very difficult to get on/off. It tends to "stick" to the crown, and it already scratched the club. I waxed the crown, that helped a little. I am looking for a replacement right now.

I also like some shaft protection, the new cover is so wide at the shaft other clubs can work there way up inbetween and hit the shaft.

I Agree ,TS head covers are terrible.i replace mine with the titleist leather limited 2016 edition.
  5. I agree. I just got my new TS2 driver and I feel like I have to peal the cover off my driver. It definitely fits too tight. I’m looking for a replacement. It’s too bad because it does look nice.

I agree, the only bad thing I can say about my TS3 driver is about the headcover. I'm happy that Titleist spent all their time on making the clubs because they are awesome, but they could have spent a little time on a nice headcover.

I do like the TS head covers but.....I wish they were a bit longer kinda like the Titleist Leather Covers.
I feel like the shorter covers and longer shafts we are seeing these days is a formula for more bag chatter and damaged shafts.

I feel the same way. I will probably get the Titleist Leather after-market covers and stash my TS cover in the closet. I was already using a set of leathers from another company except for the driver cover.

I have the Black and Red leather head covers and they are awesome!
Looking to possibly grab the "Noir" Series Leather covers as well!
My kids have already stolen my TS Covers...HA!!!

Chris B - the club tags for the woods can be opened and the numbers rotated to the correct loft. There is only 1 FW cover.

Sorry to hear some guys are disappointed. My personal 2-cents is that its a great looking head cover. Mine fits tightly on my TS2 but I was expecting that would loosen from use.

I do not like the TS head covers. I have an old school Titleist Black Fabric Driver head cover that is longer and covers the shaft better. I also went with leather 3 wood and hybrid covers vs the TS3 FW and 818 Hybrid.

Not a fan of the TS covers, the day I picked them up I ordered the white leather covers.
  14. I keep the head covers on except when hitting, and I don’t want to hold my playing partners up waiting me and my TS head cover. Would be nice they were a little easier on and off. But seriously love the distance and forgiveness of y new driver
  15. I agree too ...the TS head cover are very disappointing ...they fail in their prime purpose of protecting the head AND shaft ... they're not that well fitted and easy to get on and off ...and they don't particularly look that stylish !
  16. The headcovers are tight but I really like the ts headcovers, I think they look sleak and blend with my bag

They really do look good - I agree. That said, I use the TT Headcover from a few years ago and it is much easier to don/doff. I think the premium headcovers are a good investment - they look really sharp as well. In any case, my TS driver headcover is on the golf memorabilia shelf. Looks good there too!
