With the great new grips, I have now giving up wearing a glove. So nice not having to put on and off after tee shoots and putts. What is your feelings about not wearing a glove, except rain and cold.

I only wear a glove in cold or wet conditions. I have been doing that for about 20 years now. I will definitely have my Titleist glove and FJ rain gloves with me this weekend at Bandon Dunes. Freddie plays pretty well without a glove and my favorite golf anomaly is that Lucas Glover doesn't wear a glove.

Maybe I should try going no glove...

I've pitched without using a glove and it seemed awkward to me at address with two bare hands. I have also hit driver without a glove using an overlapping golf grip and this was much harder. Perhaps it is a result of mental conditioning, but wearing a glove gives me more confidence/control with the clubs that generate faster swing swings (driver, 3-4 iron).

I always wear a glove.I started playing with one 38 years ago.
  7. Why there are no such post about gloves for winter. I am new in golf and was searching for glove that are not bulky and keep my hands warm here in Ireland weather is too cold for skinny person like me. BTW i found only one glove which is best suitable for me from the company footjoy.

My hands sweat a lot as well; I love my FJ Weathersof gloves. I rotate between 2 or 3 per round.
  10. Always wear a glove on the course (with the exception of the green). I usually rotate 2 or 3 gloves per round so that none of the ever get really worn out. Kind of like a Prov1x, no need to ever let it get looking in bad shape. I also wear the Footjoy rain gloves and winter gloves as needed. It is great when one company can cover all of your needs.
  11. I always wear a glove except on the green and chipping.

Grew up playing without a glove, but years later I started wearing one. I feel I can grip the club lighter, and have better control with a grip. I do not use it from, say 100 yards and in.
  13. Glove for me as well but in hot weather it is a problem. On or off I sweat too much. Clubs tend to fly.

Might experiment with cord grips. Try them on your wedges and if that helps, move them to your full set.

I always wear the Titleist Players glove. For every shot except when I putt. Year round in all conditions. I generally carry two gloves as my gamers, switching after nine holes. Plus I carry an extra new Players glove in my bag just as a backup.

Glove for me on every stroke, including putting. As Jack Nicklaus once said " Wearing a golf glove and putting your golf ball on a tee for all 18 tee shots is like legal cheating. I don't know why you wouldn't do it ".
  20. If a glove is good enough for the Golden Bear that’s good enough for me!

I watched Jack Nicklaus last weekend putt. He still wears a glove on every shot, including putting. Next time out, I plan to wear my glove for every shot. The Golden Bear is a pretty good person to try to emulate. No one has ever putted better than Jack, and he always wore his glove. In fact, so does Trevino. So, there you go.......
  22. I wear a Titleist Players glove in fall, spring, and summer (rotate 2-3 gloves per round depending on temp). In the winter I go bare handed (better grip without a glove) and use Titleist mittens to keep my paws warm.
