I’m looking at a new driver has anyone gone from a 915d2 to the team range and noticed much of a difference

I went from the 915 D2 to ts2. I was very much in love with my 915, great club with a lot of positive history for me. I didn't want to change unless there was a significant difference. I got the TS2 and was fitted into a shaft the fit my swing. I can honestly tell you that I hit it higher, further and straighter. I am not gonna get on here and tell you I gained 15 yards, because thats not true.

I did gain some yards and what I am most excited about is the higher ball flight, which leads to more carry! TS drivers stock shaft is a little longer than the 915's so you should see a gain in club head speed.

My advice, if you want to change up, go see a titleist fitter! Hit the TS2 and TS3, try the shafts and get it done right! You won't be sorry!

    Good luck!
  3. I have used Titleist drivers for years. I was hitting the 915D2 and now I have been using the new TS2 for 2 Mos. It's the best driver I have ever hit. Very forgiving, very long with a good feel.
    They have a winner...

I went from the 913D2 to a TS3 and yes, noticed quite a difference. Consistently, I'm getting 10-15 yards more with the TS3 and my dispersion is better. It's worth the upgrade.

I haven't upgraded my 3 wood yet, a 913Fd. At my home course, I don't often need it. The 915H is probably my next to update, the rest of the bag is current.
  5. I went from the 913 to the ts2 and the difference is incredible. The face of the ts2 is explosive. I’ve gained 15-18 yards

I had a 915D2 and just got a TS2. HUGE difference! I've gained a tonne of distance and the ball just jumps off the face. I highly recommend trying out the TS drivers.

Really is about the head and shaft combo based on your swing. To make sure you do it right, go to a fitting and try both the TS2 and TS3 with multiple shaft combinations to get the best results. Amazing what a difference that can make. Off-the-shelf is just too much of a risk.

I really agree with you Dale! Its astonishing to me how much of a difference the shaft can make. I was able to get my TS2 early last fall. I had shop credit accumulated up and waited until they were available. As a lefty, there was not going to be any Demo's available or opportunity to try a buddy's. I guessed on a shaft (Smoke) based on what i had and some comparable testing. I was wrong lol! It was ugly. Went to see a fitter, got on the machines and tried some other shafts, golf the smoke and got in to a better fit for me and the results were undeniable. I won't make that mistake anymore! I just was so excited to try the TS project i didn't want to wait and as a lefty there was no guarantee I would ever see a demo club anyway. Lefty life is tough!

Got to agree with Vernon. TS2 is the best driver of any make that I've hit. Every bit as forgiving as any, and distance, flight, the best. The best though is the feel. Outstanding. As for the 3 wd, just ordered the TS2 3 wd. The Pro had demos, but all with the stock shafts. I wanted the same shaft that I have in the TS2 and my hybrid. Should have tried it when the Titleist fitting man was at the Club 3 weeks ago, but I spent too much time talking to him and those being fit (if you knew me you'd understand that one). Not to worry though. Lucky to have such good Pros at my Club, and the assistant overheard, said hang on, and went out back and took the shaft he had on his TS3 3 wood off and put it on a demo head. The very same shaft I was looking for. 3 days of play with it and I ordered it. Same great performance and feel as the driver. Customer service AGAIN. The Pro gave me his TS driver to try last fall right after he got it, as I wanted to order and get one before a trip to Myrtle Beach, and I was then able order and have it for the trip. Very lucky to have Titleist Staff guys like these

Switched from 915 driver & 3 wood to TS2 driver & 3 wood.Gained approx 5 yards with each but hit the 3 wood a lot more accurate. Like the higher ball flight ..Best TITLEIST clubs ever for me.
