Ever since I took up the game of golf 23 years ago I wanted to get a hole in 1. After many close calls and hole outs from the fairway I finally got my ACE on Saturday August 8th 2020. It was the final round in the Men's Invitational at Metamora CC. It was hole 17 playing 112 yards. I used a sand wedge and number 6 Titleist ProV1X golf ball. I hit the green just right and passed the flag. It was the 2 hop, stop and zip back into the hole. There were 7 guys around the tee box at the time I hit the shot. I will remember it forever!
