Recorded my 5th career hole-in-one on Hole #4 at the Nashua Town and Country Club, small 9 hole course in Nashua, IA. Hole lasered at 167 yards. Our normal Men's night group had played our 18 hole 4 ball match (which, in full disclosure, my partner for the night and I got closed out on the 16th hole 3 and 2). One member had to leave after the match so the three remaining of us decided to play one more round of skins. We had halved the first three holes (we don't play carryovers). The hole out gave me 3 skins for the eagle and jumped me into the lead.
A funny part of this was I had arrived early at the course. Waiting for the others to arrive, I was talking to a couple of members who had just got done playing and were sitting outside the clubhouse having a beverage. We got to talking about holes-in-one and the fact that our course had not had a hole-in-one in about two or three seasons. I guess I broke that drought!
