Drove down to Pinehurst, NC to play their par 3 course called The Cradle. It is a beautiful course that is so much fun while being challenging as well. I had purchased custom Titleist wedges the week before and had not hit them yet, not one single shot. On our first round, we got to the third hole and I pulled out my new 56 degree wedge and teed it up. I hit my shot and it seemed to be on a good line. Unfortunately, the tee box sits below the green and a large bunker. Two gentleman walking up behind the green starting cheering as they saw the ball go in. I yelled up to them and they confirmed that it went in. That was the very first shot I had hit with that wedge and it went in for my first HIO ever!! Using a Titleist ProV1 as well. Nothing beats Titleist!! 45 years of playing golf and it finally happened.
