Unbelievable event today August 3rd, 2020. Our Monday group (24 of us) had not played Swope Park Memorial for well over a year. One of our members managed to get us all a sweet rate to play and ride this great municipal golf course. I am the event coordinator who always brings up the last group of the day. We play close to the pin on all the par-3s and we have a Hole in One fund. I had not hit a par 3 green until hole #8 and was shocked when my Titleist ProV1 hit about three inches in front of the pin and rolled in. There was a group on hole #9 who saw the ball go in. There was also a twosome on the tee box of hole #7 who witnessed the shot. Oh and of course my playing partners who witnessed the hole in one also. This is my second hole in one. I made the most magical swing 9-iron about 108 yards that I will always remember because I watched the ball disappear into the hole.
