I’ve been playing golf since my caddy days of 13 years old. On 9/22/23 I finally hit the shot I’ve been waiting 55 years to hit, my 1st hole-in-one! 2 day shy of my 68th birthday. On the third hole of Clover Hill Golf Course in Franklin Park PA, a 154 yard par 3. I decided on an easy 7 iron. I hit a slight draw right to left to just right and 10’ short of pin. Ball hit green no bounce and rolled up to hole and dropped dead center! Pin never moved ball just dropped right in, and best part I watched it the whole way. What a great birthday gift! Now next is the 300 in bowling! Good luck to all you golfers out there, keep trying you never know when your shot is coming.
