August 22,2022. Finally got my first HiO to cap off an amazing year of progress and hard practice. What made it special was sharing the moment with a good friend during a tournament, the Wyndance golf club Invitational. On hole 12, Par 3, playing 172 yds playing into the breeze, a smooth 7 iron and after it landed heading to the pin, and it just disappeared. Thinking it had just run past, into the small dip behind the hole, the team we were playing against said the words, “I think that went in”.

And with that, my first hole in one. It’s been 30+ years of playing, and now I can finally mark this achievement.
