3rd round of our annual Member-Member tourney. My partner and I were down 3 after 3. We won holes 5-7 to square the match. Halved #8. I was the first to hit on 9. It was straight at the pin, but with the sun glare and it playing over 200 yards, we couldn't really see it. The guys on the 10th tee didn't really react right away so we didn't know for sure. Being a 5 handicap and having played for over 40 years, people just assumed I had at least a few hole-in-ones before. But this was my first. I texted my wife and kids, as well as my parents, and my normal playing partners and closest friends. It was a surreal feeling and still is today.
