159 yards…. Easy 8 iron…. Sitting at 1 over par through 6 at Strawberry Farms Golf Club in Irvine

Step onto the 7th tee and I took quite possibly the most disconnected and aggressive swing you can imagine…. Top the ball so thin my hands pretty much set ablaze… the ball landed about 115 yards in the middle of this par three’s runway and it rolls the remaining 44ish yards and we can’t see the hole but just hear a faint pin tap…. I immediately said, “golf is hard.” thinking that it was off the green well past the hole.
