On May 19, 2023, I had a hole in one on #16 at Hueston Woods Golf Course in Oxford, Ohio. This is the signature hole and was playing at 212 yards from the Blue Tees that day. The pin was in the back right part of the green. I decided to hit a 3 hybrid after having a 4 iron in my hand. I don't typically hit that club consistently. I hit a good shot that was towards the right side of the green, but I did not see it land, but new it was a good shot. Frankly, clearing the 190 yard pond that separates the tee from the green is a win. I got up to the green and did not see the ball and thought it had run over the green. One playing partner said it was in the hole. I said, "Don't kid me like that." Looked in the hole and there was my Titleist. Afterwards, my other playing partner said he thought he saw it go in, but didn't want to say anything until he knew for sure.
