On Thursday, March 27, 2024, I played golf at Copper Canyon Golf Course located in Buckeye, AZ. This is my home course and the round started like many other rounds in the past. When I got to the par 3, 7th hole, I grabbed my miz 8 iron after confirming the blue pin was 144 yards away. After flushing my shot, myself and two partners witnessed my ball track right at the pin. We watched the ball bounce 1 time, strike the pin about 1 foot above the hole, and then see the ball disappear. Due to being 144 yards away, we were not certain right away if the ball had gone in, or remained above the hole behind the pin. When we got to the pin, we located my Titleist ProV1 in the hole. I was amazed and so excited. It has been a whirlwind of excitement since. This is my first Ace! I hope to add more to my golf resume as time goes on.
