Today, June 9, 2024 I got my first HOLE IN ONE!!! I’ve been golfing for about 3 years and less than a month ago I switched from using a Bridgestone ladies Precept ball to a white PRO V1 and bam…I get a hole in one!!! I live in Fort Lauderdale and am a member at Fort Lauderdale Country Club. This surreal moment occurred in 100 degree weather on hole number 8, which is a long Par 3 that has water all along the right side and yellow stakes!!! (It’s a challenging hole). The hole was shooting at 135 yards into a lot of wind. I was deciding between using my 5 hybrid or 5 wood and picked the wood since I had room on the green in the back and to play the wind. My shot was incredible (if I do say so myself. Ha!) and landed on the green but it looked like it rolled past the pin. My friend was like “good shot” and I’m like “yeah, it felt good, I hope it didn’t roll too far back”. My foursome got up to the green and of the guys said “why are there only 3 balls here?” I’m like I don’t know, I thought one of these was mine and pointed to one of the balls. He’s like “nope…go look in the cup”. Lo and behold, my beautiful Titleist PRO V1 was in the hole for my ACE!!! I proceeded to gracefully scream, run and dance around the green chanting OMG. OMG. OMG. I got a HOLE IN ONE!!! What a surreal feeling!!! Thank you for letting me share my story and for making one helluva ball!!! #titleistPROV1userforlife
