After 45 years and thousands of rounds of golf, I finally made my first hole-in-one! It was on July 21st on a rainy day in Wautoma, WI at Two Oaks golf course. Rain had been chasing us all day and after we made the turn, we had a break in the rain when we came to the 13th hole. It is a tight 144 yard par 3 with woods on the left and rocks on the right. An 8 iron usually gets me 150 yards, but I pulled a 7 because of the wet conditions. I knew I hit it well, it had that feel and sound. I saw it bounce twice on the front of the green and then roll right to left for about 8 feet and it disappeared into the cup! An amazing memory that I shared with my 2 closest friends. I was so excited, I started to tee it up for the next hole! Thankfully, one of my buddies stopped me. Thanks titleist!
