After years of playing this great game of golf, and having a 21 handicap, I finally got a hole in one. On 07/17/24, I had the opportunity to play at Hale's Location Golf Course in North Conway, NH, a beautiful mountainous resort. At the third hole, a 156 yard par 3, I used a 6 iron to hit my Titleist Velocity ball. After striking the ball it soared onto the green, where I lost sight of the ball. A greenskeeper, who was standing to the side of the green, began cheering that the ball went in the hole. It was a day of firsts for the both of us, he, witnessing his first hole in one, and I, making my first hole in one. And what made this moment even a little sweeter, I was playing with two of my brother in-laws, who are lower handicaps than me.
