After many decades... I finally got one! It was at The Duke @ Rancho El Dorado in Arizona - #16 Par 3. The green is protected in front by a hill and large bunker. The flag tip is visible behind the hill and the green is out of sight. Slope is from right to left. I figure the best shot is right of the hill so the ball has a chance to roll left near the center flag. I used my #3 ProV1x and a fairway wood for the 189 yards. I hit a good shot with an 80% swing and the ball was flying on a good trajectory left of the hill as intended. My wife exclaimed that was a perfect shot! She was up next and hit left, kicking up some dirt by the cart path. We both approached the green looking for her ball, as we saw a ball 10 feet left of the hole - which we thought was mine. After a minute of looking, I approached that ball just to make sure it was mine... but it wasn't! It was my wife's ball. We then looked behind the green for my ball, but I had a funny feeling, so I slowly approached the hole for a peek and found my Titleist in the hole! I wished I would have seen it roll in, but it was mostly a blind par 3. No one was around us, so it was just my wife and I to confirm the hole-in-one.
