I started playing this great game at the age of 10, at our local Jr. Golf program. I am now 63 years old, and had my FIRST hole-in-one last week at my course in New Braunfels, TX. It took 53 Years, I was beginning to wonder if it would ever happen. I carry a GHIN handicap of 3.8, and have played many courses across the USA, coming close several times, but never crossed that threshold until last week. The hole was #11 at The Bandit Golf Course, 219 yards, into a 20mph wind that day. I hit my Titleist ProV1x ball with my Titleist 913F 3-wood and it never left the flag. But our 5-some couldn't tell if it went in, or rolled past the flag and over the green. As we drove up to the green, we could tell that it wasn't over the green. So I tip-toed slowly up to the hole, and there it was!! What a great feeling finally !!!!!
