Rory McIlroy Surefit Position

    I just saw a "In my bag" Video with Rory (not a most recent one, I admit) and I got a littlebit confused about one of his remarks:

    He says (0:22 sec) that his D2 Driver Surefit Position is C2, so that it "sits open .... to neutralize the Draw I put on").

    By looking at my 910 Performance Guide RH, I thought that C2 is actually doing just the opposite ? Neutralizing Fade and supporting Draw.

    Am I mistaken or is Rory ??

    Clubface is .5* open just like A1 but the lie angle is .75 upright.     It'll promote a draw if your body physiology necessitates a flat or standard lie angle because the toe of the club points up a little more.  A taller person may use the #2 or #3 quadrants and a shorter person would use the #1 or #4 quadrants.  I personally hit a bit of a fade on C2 and hit it dead straight on B3.  A3,D3,A2 or D2 are too upright of a lie angle.
