  1. Mine would be the Memorial Tournament. It's Mr. Nicklaus' baby. His tournament. His course. A legend, and in my mind, the greatest player who ever walked any fairway and green. Another reason(s) why this is the greatest tournament is because...Mrs. Nicklaus does an A+++ job getting everything together, along with the volunteers, Military Appreciation, Honoree(s), Clinic, Jr. Clinic(s)...I could go on and on!

As far as my favorite hole, I'd say all 18! However, if I HAD to pick one, I'd say #18. That's where it all comes down to and the ceremonie(s)...WOW!

For me, it's a toss up between the Masters and the British Open.

My wife refers to my Masters dedication as Holy Week.

my favorite tournament is prolly either the masters or the coca cola tour championship. i like the masters because i feel like it the place that golf started in america and that the greatest player of all time designed the course and that gives it a feeling around there in the air because you know your walking where many of the best moments in golf have happened and it just seems that there is always gonna be something huge happen there. and i love the tour championship because it is held at east lake golf course and i have had the opporitunity to play there and it cool to go there during the fed ex cup to see how players do on some of the holes that you did either good or bad on but its just always a fun atmosphere there.

    definately masters

  5. The Master's is truly amazing. The sad thing  is, I have yet to go there!

Good news is...a gentleman and his wife, at my club, who's wanting to sponsor me, told me that he has a home next to the club. He invited me down next year to stay Master's Week, and is letting me use one of their family passes. I'm so excited. It'll FINALLY be my first Master's. I'm kinf of nervous though. I can smell the Azaleas now, and hear the wind whistling through the Dogwoods/Magnolias, now.

My favorite tournament to watch is defintely The Open Championship. I love seeing 100 foot putts and people hitting knockdown shots. It reminds me a little bit of golf here in west Texas. It's always windy and I love the entire layout.

I'd have to agree with you. Masters takes the cake by a long shot. Most pure looking course I have ever seen (on TV, I haven't seen it in person). Hope I get the chance to see it for myself one day soon and experience the atmosphere.

Masters... no second guessing myself either on that one. Second has to be Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone in Akron Ohio. It was the first golf tourny I attended and now live seconds away from Firestone CC. With a close vote however, The Open, The U.S. Open AT PEBBLE and any Ryder Cup of course.

IThe Masters by far, I"ve been there probably 30 times and its always in perfect condition. Not to mention all the tradition that goes along with the tournament.

The Masters. There is nothing out of place on the entire grounds. The course is in perfect shape. Bombers with a high draw are welcome, but you better be able to roll the rock.

The Masters.    Since I live in Georgia and been going every year since 2001.  Just love it there!

The Open Championship!  Love the old link courses and the weather usually makes for good tv.  In my bucket list of things to do or attend!

Also, miss sitting on the 17the hole @ the Buick Open...loud and obnoxious, but a lot of fun!

The Open Championship. Golf at its greatest and how it was meant to be played. However the Memorial Tournament is a blast. I shot it in 2008 (photographer). Nothing like being inside the ropes at a PGA tournament. Especially when it's at Jack's house.

    RYDER CUP!!!

Doesn't get any better than battling for your country.  I started playing golf in 98 and I remember falling completely in love while watching the 99 matches at the Country Club.

  17. The Ryder Cup is definitely another great one! Ever since I was a young boy, watching Mr. Nicklaus, I've always dreamed about winning the Memorial Tournament, the Master's, and finally, the Ryder Cup. Winning any golf tournament is a feeling that you'll never forget. But can you imagine winning a golf "tournament" while also representing your Country? That would be such an honor; such a great feeling. I hope that , someday, I'll get that chance!

I would have to go with the Masters. Its the biggest tourney of the year and it grabs the most attention from outsiders. People outside of golf pay attention to it and it just makes the whole atmosphere more enjoyable.

  19. Yeah, the Master's does in fact attract people. It can help grow this great game and start building dreams! I was thinking about it earlier...the 2011 Master's in only 6 months away. I can't wait. I'm already starting to cross off my calender!

i would have to say the ryder cup because i love watching team golf and i love all the enthusiasm!

  21. The enthusiasm at the Ryder Cup is unlike any other golf tournament in the world. It's a feeling that only those involved will experience. I'd absolutely LOVE to represent my Country one of these days, and maybe then, I'll get to experience the same enthusiasm that the players get to experience. It'd be a dream come true, next to winning the Memorial, of course!
