Im not sure I like the majors ending so early in the season, I much prefer the US PGA being later in the year.

Great finish seeing an irishman win the open in Ireland. Hopefully its back there soon

Fitting that an Irishman won! To see the joy on the faces of all the blue coated course volunteers brought a tear to my eye.

What do you think Eric? Could it have been any better a finish? I loved everything about it! An Irishman winning The Open in Ireland couldn't be better. Probably do more for unity on that island than anything else 100 years. I thought the coverage was outstanding. The Golf Channel, NBC, the Brits, the Scots, the Irish, all of those who contributed and were put together by the Golf Channel, SKY, the BBC etc did a great job, and especially the patrons in the galleries. So many on the Golf Channel and NBC have come into their own over the past few years, and they continue to bring on more and more former players who shine. Brandel could have kept his mouth shut on a couple things, especially David Duval critique. Sometimes the best said is nothing at all, especially kicking a man when he's down.

He was the best player all week it seemed, what a great finish for everyone in Ireland and Royal Portrush! I think it will return there again.

Loved The Open. Lowery was the best player and man could he control the ball. Great finish.

The PGA decided to have a major or close to one in consecutive months.
March - The Players Championship
April - Masters
May PGA
June - US Open
July - The Open
August - The Tour Championship

If this gets a lot of negative feedback from the players and sponsors they will tweak it. The PGA is scheduled for May again next year at Harding Park.
