Apparently the conditions played into the Europeans hands until the course got too wet to be fair. Johnny Miller made a comment that will cause me to do some research on the web. He said when it rains in America, players are pulled off the course for fear of lightning. Miami, where I live, is the lightning capital of the world, so I understand that. Miller said there is no lightning in that part of Europe... what?

Under the circumstances, if he is correct, the European players would have a LOT more experience playing in bad weather. Great matches though... one of the best in years!

I'm pretty sure lightning is everywhere. They probablky did have an advantage
