  1. PLEASE, correct me if I'm wrong, but, from my understanding, Mr. McIlroy isn't going to be playing much, if at all, on the P.G.A. Tour in 2011. I really hope this isn't true.

The first time that I seen him was at this years Memorial. He seemed like a really nice guy with a great swing. If it's true, and he won't be playing on Tour in 2011, I know that I, Muirfield Village and the Memorial Tournament will truly miss him.

As I understand it because he didn't accept status on the PGA Tour he can play up to 11 events.  The WGC's count as well as the majors.  There was a write up about it but essentially you are correct.  He won't be playing much over here.  If I remember correctly the release stated that Westwood had played more then the alloted events and it's at the total discretion of the tour.  I would hope the tour would allow him to play in more since he is such a draw.  Just goes to show the biggest difference in the two tours.  The PGA tour is al ME, ME, ME and the European tour is WE, WE , WE (insert French jokes here).  I wish he was playing more here as I wish Westwood and Kaymer were playing more here too.  I hope the Tour will make some changes to it's policies.

  3. I was afraid to hear that. Oh man, I'd love to see Mr. Kaymer and Mr. Westwood play over here...among other golfers as well. I figure that he/they, well play in the Major's/W.G.C., events. It would be nice to see everyone play on a consistant basis, but, that's near impossible.

According to rorymcilroy.com, he still has a pretty busy schedule. I completely understand where he's coming from. Hopefully, someday, I'll get to see him again.
