Patrick Cantlay's second shot on the 72nd hole-par 5 was absolutely exquisite.

I can't wait to see Rahm seeking revenge in the Ryder Cup.

What are your thoughts on Patrick's win? How important will this win be for his career?

His fourth win of the year. Think it caps a great year and something that has not been accomplished on the tour in a while, and was only player to win three this year. I am a Patrick fan and both players hit great shots in on 18. John who is the number one player in the world, was very complimentary in his interview of Patrick and their match. Both class acts, but Patrick was the better putter all day. At the age of 29, it is one heck of a comeback for him, overcoming his back injury and loss of his best friend/caddy. An accumulation of hard work leading up to a stellar year. Well deserved. =)
  3. A very impressive stretch of pressure golf in the last two tournaments to win the championship. I think the perseverance he showed coming back after his injury helps him in pressure situations, and will help him win again.
  4. Cantlay played phenomenal golf. I'm a big fan of his and how he maneuvers around the course he plays. It goes to show a lot of players out there how important putting is. He was absolutely lights out on the greens the past two weeks when he needed to be. I hope he brings this play with him to Whistling Straits!

The kid has assembled quite the resume, lets hope it leads to some major success in the next few seasons.

Really enjoyed his game. Seeing him with good success this year has been great. I often wondered when he'll do this as I knew then or had high hopes anyway for him and his game around the time when he lost his friend/caddie. I don't follow much of any player, but it seems that it's all behind him now. I'll be rooting for him again in the future.
