Kinda poetic. Had an opening quadruple on Thursday but just kept chugging like Tom the engine would do and shoots a 61 on Sunday. This kid can play some golf. Earned his card as well. What an ambassador and what a future. =)

Imagine starting the tourney with a Quad bogey on the first hole then finish the tourney 71 holes later at 20 under par and a 5 shot lead. Amazing and he does that with a huge smile on his face. I think he is going to have a great career. Congratulations to Tom Kim.

Tom Kim is in the zone. The zone is a period when confidence begets confidence, and everything falls into place. It seems like tour pros have a period of 6-8 weeks during the year when they find the zone, and this is often when they win an event or continually have strong finishes to make most of their season's earnings.

There are a few exceptions to this guideline. Tiger is an obvious one. Maybe Nicklaus and Hogan, too. The ability to prepare and perform in specific events, spread throughout the season, is rare and to be respected.

Enjoy being in the zone when it happens. You won't know it is over until it's obvious.

I like that he still finds time to have fun while being in "The Zone." It's hard not to root for him.

This guy comes off pretty cool, easy to root for. Hope he continues to have success on the PGA tour

Think Bobby Jones said he plays golf for the love of the game, and that seems to be our young lad, Tom Kin. Of course Tom, is making a nice living doing it.
