It is time for those of us to start getting excited for the season as spring and summer are right around the corner. Wondering what new players you are seeing Titleist equipment in the bags for the season. Each year players make decisions on their equipment and I know we lost a couple but wondering who is new.

You will rarely see new established players become full bag Titleist Ambassadors coming from another company as the player contract models for Titleist are extremely different from the pay-to-play companies. Most, if not all, will be players that Titleist supported through college or lesser tours that have brand loyalty as they become premier players. a few will quietly come back to partial bag play but will do so quietly without a sign profile equipment contract. Watch for more of the young kids like Tom Kim and Ludvig Aberg to carry the Titleist torch into the future.

Don't know who is new, but I see players under contract to other companies' equipment using GT Drivers, Vokey Wedges and Scotty putters.

Let's face it, Max took the money and ran, the Puma shoes are awful, and I don't often criticize like that. Of course, next to the Premiere Series, they all are, IMO. In this era only the Top 20 or so guys are making big money on club deals, carrying the staff bag isn't as lucrative as many would believe, it mainly covers travel expenses/free equipment. Gordon Sargent is the latest addition to the Tour I'm watching closely, he bombs it. With Team Titleist it's more about who we lost rather than who we signed.
