I know it's not quite as becoming as the Green Jacket, but there's something to be said about a man who can rock the plaid.  I am a big fan of this tournament.  Let's get the convo rolling.

Who do you think will win?

Have you guys/ gals ever had a chance to play this beauty?

I for one have a good feeling about Ryuji Imada.  I think this kid is due.  I have never played it in person, but I love the layout and am really looking forward to watching some good golf this weekend.

I played Harbour Town about 5 years ago.  The course is beautiful (as is the entire Hilton Head area) and very challenging.  In fact, I believe that it is one of the most challenging layouts on the tour - especially if the wind is blowing.  When I played, the wind was strong and made for some very tricky shots into some smaller greens.  Many of the holes meander through the plantation and you can see the condos/townhouses just off the fairways.  The big trees allow them to blend in a bit, but they pose several challenges as well.  The finishing 3 holes are great golf holes and #17 and #18 are very picturesque.  If you are ever in Hilton Head, call Sea Pines and play the Harbour Town course.  You will not be disappointed.

Live about an hour from the course and have played it a couple of times. Challenging and fun course, however, very rewarding if you play smart golf. With that said,  a golfer who has played the course multiple times will win. My top three are Furyk, Luke Donald, or Bill Haas. Do play the course if you get the chance, however, growing spoiled by the golf courses in South Carolina, it is not one of my favorite courses.

Wow that's awesome Zackary. I've been lucky enough to play some G in north Carolina and golf down there, or up there for you, is incredible.

LD looks really strong and is a personal favorite of mine. I have the same game (just not tour quality). My short game is really solid but my long game is substandard.

HHI is always a great spot hopefully the weather will hold up and it'll be a great weekend

  5. It's a shame that this tournament may not be around too much longer!

LD could become world No 1 right now, no pressure or anything...

I would like to see him pull it out.

Another Great Finish at Harbour Town...I was so pulling for Luke Donald (and not just because he was on my fantasy golf team!).  I thought that chip was going in for par on the 3rd playoff hole!!

I was also pulling for Day - he seemed to have his chances but then seemed to make a few not so hot shot choices.  Man, Furyk just imploded...he seemed rock solid until the ball movement incident...was that a 4-putt?

Props to Snedeker though, I do like him and he played great in the clutch.

I thought LD had it locked up with the almost chip in...

Great tournament, I hope Harbour Town has a place on the PGA for a long time.
