Darn man, that could be very bothersome to someone just looking down at their new putter. Unfortunate!! I dont know how good at machining you are but that would be the only way thats ever gonna disappear. Getting it on a wheel and removing some material to smooth that out. Which in my opinion probably isn't worth it and would likely lead to more problems as you removed material. Because that does look decently thick! Chicks dig scars man! Roll with it drop some putts and you want even notice that gash anymore!

I would suggest don't look at the bottom. I chipped the paint on my Phantom X 5.5 last year, and filled it in with nail polish and a sharpie. Luckily, it was only cosmetic. Yours is not cosmetic, but it won't effect performance. Tough break, but I would try and get past it.

Scotty's Custom Shop could fix that, but you would have to do a restoration. Last time I checked, that was around $150 or so. If the ding doesn't impact the performance/roll, I wouldn't worry about it. You can't see that at address - unless you have a really weird pre-putt routine. :)

Pretty much your only options are to deal with it or send it into the Spa at Scotty Cameron. But Im guess there will be a lot of weight removed to un-ding it.

Agree with the majority, putt with it, unless you want to layout $290 for a restoration. I would putt with it and enjoy that beautiful work of art, ding or not.

I agree, fortunately it was not on the face or top line...bigger deal in those areas. I would send it back to Scotty Cameron Custom Shop to have it "restored" where they can remove the ding or the majority of it at least.

I also agree. It's on the bottom, so it's not going to affect performance.I'm not sure you can even see it address.I'd leave it alone and try not to think about it.
