Looks like the first batch of 2023 Club Cameron Kits is out and SOLD OUT!! Like many, I have been a loyal supporter of Scotty Cameron and a member of Club Cameron for well over 15 years. The process for allocating kits does not reward or consider continuous loyalty. If you miss an email or have a job/life situation that doesn’t allow constant monitoring of email, you’re out. I know this is how the process works and I am admittedly venting, but I am bitterly disappointed in the Scotty Cameron brand’s approach to its sales and product drops. It seems like priority is given to a few ‘authorized’ resellers that charge exorbitant markups. Signed - A Disenfranchised Scotty Cameron Loyalist

  2. sounds like there will be more drops coming, not the entire amount of memberships were with the first announcement/release. Hoping there's more communication on any options for buying not only drop product, but the putter releases as well.

I couldn't agree more on this topic. I have been more and more frustrated over the years and was hoping with his note regarding the delay in the 2023 kit. Now that it has been released, and the bots and resellers scooped them up, I am fully OUT on all things Scotty. The reality is, they are a great product for tour players and they simply choose to ignore the everyday player.
  4. I agree, their practices for releasing not only the kits but also special drops for headcovers and other accessories help the bots gain a huge advantage since they can constantly check for new items. If people knew exactly when these things were going to drop, it'd at least be a more even playing field so people could plan to be on the site at the right time.
  5. The drops are predictable based on previous years. Mondays, the MOTO putters come out at 11:30 EST. The limited release gallery gear comes out on Tuesdays at 11:30 EST (a simple google search will give you an estimate of exactly which Tuesday certain items will be released). Then Wednesday the Gallery Circle T putters come out at, you guessed it, 11:30 EST. New for 2023 is the process where you simply click to enter the opportunity to buy a Circle T putter - eliminates the bots this way. I guess my point is that you can have a job, a family, kids, etc... and only devote 10 minutes at 11:30 EST Mon - Wed., depending on what you're after.

I haven't read anybody's suggestion on how Scotty Cameron could do this better. The old adage goes, "don't complain if you don't have a solution".
  6. I really like the umbrella this year. I'm hoping to get that email soon.

Very frustrating! If you are only in it to make money don't. Leave it for the loyalists....

Im a new club member this year - and will be real member who does not re-sell items, but instead just enjoys the benefits. I’ve checked daily, multiple times a day since Jan 3 and then boom, randomly it worked. I’ve been patiently waiting for almost a yar and mostly just sad that I’ve never been able to buy things from SC website because they were “member only” items. I hope that each of you real members get your chance to sign up this year.

Maaaaannnnnn this is getting ridiculous SOLD OUT EVERY YEAR!!!!! I have been trying for the last 2-3 years to get a CLUB CAMERON MEMBERSHIP….NO DICE!!!!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED AS ALWAYS? What do you have to do to catch ANYTHING? I LOVE TEAM TITLEIST(loyalist) BOB VOKEY(loyalist) SCOTTY CAMERON(owner of many) but I can’t catch a BREAK on access to many items on some of the sights and feel like I have been shut out on ALL CLUB CAMERON ITEMS FOR YEARS!!!!!!

There will be more drops.. Patience!
  12. There have been many frustrations in recent years with the cameron club however the value is there for a headcover and umbrella alone IMHO.

Enjoy because you like the brand not the dollars and cents...IMHO

Not sure that I understand the ‘Enjoy because you like the brand not the dollars and cents’ sentiment expressed above? None of us are talking about joining Club Cameron to resell the items? I have NEVER SOLD a Scotty item and I have a collection of Club Cameron headcovers dating to the beginning. It has nothing to do with dollars and cents? I could buy any Scotty item that I want, but I refuse to pay the markup from the bot sellers or seemingly preferred resellers. It’s about being loyal to a group of customers that are loyal to the brand rather than shutting them out. Maybe it’s just me, but I am becoming increasingly put off the ‘Scotty Experience.’

    Well said!
  15. The short batch drops I’d guess is to combat and respond to the feedback that bots are in use and hoovering up memberships for finical gain..

Stick with it and keep an eye on your inbox.
I got mine though 10 mins after email received

I had a membership two years ago, missed out last year, and will hopefully see another chance to get one this upcoming year when they release more for sale. I agree with the frustration on people flipping covers, but don't blame them when people are paying double or more for it. The umbrella and headcover this year are a nice part of the membership, but I am hoping to be able to add a new Halloween headcover this year. I was really bummed I missed out on the hockey mask last fall.

I think we all realize that the intermittent drops are intended to ‘battle the bots,’ but it doesn’t seem to have improved the process. In my opinion, the process is inconsistent with the brand loyalty that Titleist offers and tries to build with their loyal followers. Sure, there are always limited releases, but the Club Cameron membership was always different than the ‘typical’ Scotty drops. I used to get a notice that my Club Cameron membership was due to expire. There was a link to renew for the next year. Now, it seems like a complete crap shoot and you’ve got to hope you are at your computer when the email comes?!? Disappointing and disenfranchising.

I share everyone’s disappointment with the way Cameron Club membership has been turned into a lottery, but try being a longtime Scotty loyalist living outside of the US.

The out of the blue email hit my inbox at 4:15 a.m local time here in Australia. I’ve become accustomed to not having a chance to buy limited edition items from the Cameron Store throughout the year, but missing out on the yearly club headcover is a real bummer.

Anyone know when the second release date is going to be?
I agree I was last a member in 2019 and have missed out the last few years.
Just can’t get in early enough.

Same record and song every year, which is something that cannot be controlled by SC, unfortunately. Like getting tickets to the Masters, it is tough to get in. I stopped joining 10 years ago. This is one of the nicer packages. The Gustbuster umbrellas are the best and that headcover is uptown. Hang in there and maybe when the next drop comes up you can grab one.
  22. They just had another drop and I finally got one! I really wanted the umbrella this year, so this was so worth it. I agree with the sentiment of the bots and resellers grabbing everything, it really is unfortunate. It happens with the putter drops as well. Then they end up on ebay at 100% markup. Not what Scotty intended, I'm sure.

Would be smart marketing to set a link for TT members to buy in straight from this website on a private drop.
Seeing so many of us play SC putters it would be utilized heavily.

  25. Yes the problem is many people out there get the Scotty Cameron products just to get on eBay and sell them for double when people like us just want to purchase because we love Scotty Cameron. I have yet to see how to get SC products unless I want to by a resale for a ridiculous price.
  26. This is my 3rd year of being a member of Club Cameron, and I’ve only missed one drop. With the exception of the drop today, they usually follow a calendar. You have to be ready between 11:10 and 11:45am EST on Mondays and Tuesdays. The drops usually occur the same week of specific PGA tour events.
