Hi - I am curious what others have done for new Phantom 5.5 headcovers. Currently, all headcovers on the Scotty Cameron website are sold out. Any recommendations?

  2. I don’t use my phantom 5.5 currently but it has a generic PRG mid mallet headcover on it. None of my Scotty Cameron’s have Scotty covers on as I don’t want to advertise what they are to avoid light fingers round the clubhouse and putting green.

I agree with Phil C however I am in a bit of a jam with my Concept X CS-01 putter. This is a very unique shape and I have yet to find another headcover that will fit. I am always worried about the "light fingers" when they see it in my bag so usually wind up covering it with my towel. Any suggestions on this headcover replacement would be great to hear as well. Thanks in advance

I keep my Scotty Cameron branded covers at home for the same reason others have mentioned before, I don't want them stolen. I frequent a local pro shop and they have an excellent assortment of putter covers that fit the Scottys well.

I also do not like to let prying eyes see my titleist clubs and putter to prevent those lite fingers from them getting my most valued possessions.
  6. Go on the used market or there are several groups on Facebook where you can find stuff that is priced reasonably and definitely filtered, so not counterfeit.

Head covers from SC are more of collectors forum than a user acquisition. If you want a replacement you pretty much need to go to internet sites like eBay.

I lost a 7.5 LH cover. I ended up getting a generic cover at a third of the price of a used SC stock cover. Like others, I’m not keen to advertise I have a SC. I’ll guess there are moral dilemmas when someone comes across a cover or putter in plain view and no one watching.

I bought one on Craigslist, head over for prev generation Phantom (grey color)…able to keep branding in place and eyes off my bag…..but also…..if you go to range….take it out of bag just in case
  9. I have my original 5.5 cover tucked away in the man cave and bought the gray mallet cover off SC website. In the beginning I wished I kept the original on the putter and saved the gray mallet cover, but I just loved how the gray looked

You think they’re tough to find, now imagine you’re a lefty. Unicorns.
