Its every golfers dream to play in the Open Championship. But unfortunately for the vast majority of us, that's a dream we will never see come true. That doesn't mean we can't have some fun thinking about what it would be like to be one of those great names playing at Royal Liverpool this week though. So my question is, if you were playing this week, what changes would you make to your equipment to ensure you were best set up to tackle the tough links conditions?
For myself, I would be looking at two area's. First would be the inclusion of a 712U in my bag. This will help me get controlled distance off the tee and will also be useful for longer bump and runs into greens. Secondly, I would have one of the Titleist Tour Reps have a look at my wedge set up (obviously as we're now professionals we'll have full access to the Titleist Tour van and its experts). I play with a fairly neutral bounce in my Vokey Design SM5 wedges at present, but I may want to reduce bounce based on the harder conditions to ensure my club connects will with the golf ball and doesn't slide too much.
What about everyone else? Let us know what changes you'd make.
