    Looking at getting ultra lightweight stand bag since I would like to start walking again instead of using a push cart all the time...  The only thing that concerns me is the 3 way divider..

    Does anyone currently have this bag?  Thoughts on the 3 way divider?   Not concerned about pocket space,etc.

    Thanks!

    Hi Chris,

    I love my 2014 Ulltra Lightweight. I have never had a problem packing it with all my stuff. So you have an idea, I usually carry the following;

    Rain Jacket, knee brace, extra gloves, 12 balls, med kit, adjustment tool, water bottle, bunch-o-tees, a few snacks, my wallet, keys, cell phone. I put 8 irons in the bottom 2 sections and the , putter, woods ,and wedges on the top. I also have my towel and range finder hanging on the loop.

    Keep in mind that this is the 2014 model, the 2015 model might have a smaller, or at least less flared, opening. It seemed that way when I saw a floor model.

    Any particular reason you want the Ultra light as opposed to the lightweight?

    I still use my 2012/2013 lightweight carry bag. Although the company I work for gave me a stand bag that is like an ultralight weight bag that I use from time to time for business purposes ( Sun Mtn 3.5 SuperLight bag). I love all the room I have for anything I need in the Titleist bag. I usually carry only what I need for the round so it stays pretty light.

    Is that the one with the two horizontal dividers? Or does it have the T shaped dividers like the newer models?

    The three way divider was the standard for golf bags well into the 80's.  Very simply woods and putter in top, 3-7 mid, and 8-lw in the bottom.  You should take a look at the Sta Dry bag. Light and rain proof.  Saved me many days when I was out on the course and the liquid sunshine started.

    Budget is the only reason really...   I've seen a few of them online for like 119 and some less than that but depends on the color.  Yeah picky with colors...   But I will take a look at the lightweight bag again before making my purchase.. I currently have the Titleist staff stand bag which i love and goes on my push cart but just looking for something smaller when i don't need to carry a lot of stuff..  I'll definitely keep my options open...

    I really appreciate all the feed backs..

    Cool, so it looks like you are looking for a carry bag since it seems you already have the staff stand bag and a push cart. The lightweight bag will probably be too similar to your staff bag, just a pound or two lighter due to the difference in materials, so it might not be the best investment if price is an issue. Then again, if you love your staff bag but just want a color change, it might be worth it.

    The cool thing about the 3-way divider system is that you can really cut the bag chatter when you are walking. That was a huge plus in my book since my brother's voice doesn't carry well at all.

    Love the last line..  Thankfully my brother doesn't play and chatting with me is not an issue since I'm hard of hearing and if you're talking to me on my left side, i'm just nodding my head...   If I like chatting with ya, then i'll tell ya to go on the right side.. But I love chatting with people..
