I wanted to share this story that was aired on local FoxNews in Boston. Bob is a friend, neighbor and truly is one of the most humble people I have ever met. A couple of years ago, Cathi (Team Titleist VIP Concierge) heard his speech after he was honored with the 2013 Patriot Award out in San Diego, and she was so inspired that she gathered a shipment of Titleist clubs to donate to Bob to use in his free clinics to military vets to help him continue his teaching.

"BRAINTREE, Mass -Braintree Municipal Golf Course has found a unique way to help local military veterans get their minds off the struggle of everyday life. The PGA Hope Program is dedicated to helping veterans with physical and mental issues through the game of golf.
"Isolation is the absolute anathema for PTSD," says Golf Director Fred Corcoran. "Then we get them out here and they start talking, criticizing, kibitzing, joking with each other we know we succeeded. It gets them out of the house and back with their buddies."
A huge part of the success of the program is Bob Beach, the head golf professional at the Braintree Municipal Golf Course since 1991. "He loves the game," says Veteran Joe Scanlon. "He loves the commitment to the veterans and he's willing to sacrifice and he gives and gives and he gives all the help that he can."
When asked about his love for the program, Beach replied. "This is what I like to do now. How lucky am I to be out there helping these veterans who did so much for us and sacrificed so much. Its my favorite thing to do. I can do it everyday. That's probably going to be my retirement job."
