2017 will go down as my first year as a TT member. Handicap dropped to 11.8 and to celebrate my hard work went to a Titleist Thursday and got fitted with new 718 AP1’s and 818 H1’s. Christmas saw a new Deluxe Cart Bag under the Christmas tree.
Can’t wait for the Titleist Invitational 2018!

I love the blogs from amateurs like myself, and really enjoy the input from the staff. This year I'm looking forward to a new set of 718's, and will either be fitted at my regular golf retail store, or the new Club Champion center that is opening in Detroit soon. I admit to being a kid in a candy store when waiting for my sleeve of test balls. Guess the only thing to make all of this better now is to win a contest, and rub it in to my buddies that are NOT part of the TT.

My best moment was when I "found" a set of brand new 716 AP2s for sale with PROJECT X 6.0 EZ shafts at the end of the season. The pro sold them to me at a bargain price. I 'm a teacher and HS golf coach getting my own kids through college so I don't have the $$$ to change equipment that often. But I do know quality when I see and try it - so my bag is all Titleist (some old like my 913 D3 driver) and I play the V1X. So when I found those irons it was like I hit the lottery in 2017!

I am looking forward to joining the 2018 TT Invitational event - it looks like a lot of fun is had by all.

For me it was playing golf with my high school buddies who played Bethpage Black through our high school days. Got a chance to play at Hilton Head and brought our wives and visited Savannah, GA.
